Pollution Prevention & Zero Waste Technical Training for Tribes

Learn how Pollution Prevention & Zero Waste principles can help you reduce hazardous and nonhazardous waste from your Tribal operations!

The Pollution Prevention Resource Center and Gary Liss & Associates are offering a free 6-hour, in-person training for Tribes in Washington State. The training includes:
 

  • How to use Pollution Prevention (P2) and Zero Waste strategies to make improvements in purchasing and operations

  • How to identify various harmful chemicals in products and wastes

  • How to identify hazardous and non-hazardous wastes

  • Choosing safer product and material alternatives

  • Implementing practical ways to reduce impacts on the environment & risks to health

  • Applying these principles in day-to-day work and operations

  • Developing a green purchasing policy

  • Writing a P2 and zero waste plan


Attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion and one-year of on demand, technical assistance from PPRC and Gary Liss & Associates to help you implement your P2 and Zero Waste plan.
