The Pollution Prevention Resource Center and Gary Liss & Associates are offering a free 6-hour, in-person training for Tribes in Washington State. The training includes:
How to use Pollution Prevention (P2) and Zero Waste strategies to make improvements in purchasing and operations
How to identify various harmful chemicals in products and wastes
How to identify hazardous and non-hazardous wastes
Choosing safer product and material alternatives
Implementing practical ways to reduce impacts on the environment & risks to health
Applying these principles in day-to-day work and operations
Developing a green purchasing policy
Writing a P2 and zero waste plan
Attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion and one-year of on demand, technical assistance from PPRC and Gary Liss & Associates to help you implement your P2 and Zero Waste plan.
