P2 West: Pollution Prevention Roundtable
P2 West is our annual pollution prevention conference developed through a partnership between P2 experts across the nation, with emphasis on EPA Regions 8, 9, and 10. This premier event brings together hundreds of P2 technical assistance providers, green business programs, sustainability experts, zero waste, and pretreatment professionals working with small businesses, government, and industry to prevent pollution from the source. While this event is regionally focused, we welcome pollution prevention professionals from any region to join and participate.​​​​

P2 West 2025 was held virtually and included participants from 32 states and 3 tribal governments. The focus of this roundtable was reports from workgroups that participated in the two year PFAS strategic plan initiative. We also heard from state representatives from Regions 9 and 10 on PFAS updates and future goals.
2025
P2 West 2024 was held virtually and included participants from across the U.S. The agenda included updates from 2023 P2 West working groups, remarks from EPA headquarters leadership, P2 project report-outs, and announcements of P2 grant awardees. 2024
P2 West 2023 was a hybrid format, in-person in Boise, ID, and virtually. The goal of this roundtable was to develop a strategic action plan to address PFAS. P2 West 2022 was held in-person in Portland, OR. We were grateful to gather in-person again after a 2 year hiatus. The agenda included 3 days of presentations, facilitated networking, and group activities, including keynote speaker Jennie Romer from EPA headquarters.
