On June 28th the By-Product Synergy Kickoff event was held at Seattle City Hall with almost 100 corporations, government agencies, associations, universities and NGO’s in attendance. Currently a network is forming of organizations that will work together over the course of a year, beginning in Fall 2007 to identify new market opportunities waste products, find lower cost local feed stocks and reduce costs and risks associated with wastes. As a member of the By-Product Synergy Northwest Network you will follow a proven model established by the U.S. Business Council for Sustainable Development, and work with a wide variety of industry leaders to identify opportunities to turn your wastes into profit.
