2009 Western P2 Conference
Request for Session Topics
The Pacific Northwest Pollution Prevention Resource Center (PPRC) and the Western Sustainability Pollution Prevention Network (WSPPN) proudly announce the 2009 Western U.S. Pollution Prevention Conference.
We are now accepting submissions for sessions, trainings and/or topics to be considered for this year’s joint Region 9 and 10 Pollution Prevention Conference. Please submit papers under the following subjects:
| Track 1 | Sustainability/P2 Policy Examples include topics related to Green Chemistry, AB-32 (CA’s Climate Change legislation), non-CA Climate Change legislation, etc. |
| Track 2 | Implementing sustainability/P2 Initiatives in government (topic categories can be in any sector that falls under this section) |
| Track 3 | Implementing sustainability/P2 initiatives in business and industry (topic categories can be in any sector that falls under this section) |
Keep in mind that all technical and policy sessions run 1.5 hours and all training sessions run 2.75 hours.
The conference will be October 28-29, 2009 in San Diego, CA .
Topic Submittal Deadline: March 6, 2009
The WSPPN Advisory Board and a contingent from Region 10 will meet at the end of March to select submissions that will be included in the conference agenda. To make it easier for us, please include the following information in your submissions:
- Name of Submitter
- Topic Name
- Track number you would like to submit under (either 1, 2, or 3)
- Length in time of presentation
- Name of presenters
- Abstract (no more than 30-40 words)
- Target Audience
- Goal of your presentation
- Format of your session (interactive, world-café, lecture, etc)
