1.  Semiconductor Industry Association - Environment, Safety & Health

The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) is the premier trade association representing the U.S. semiconductor industry. Founded in 1977 by five microelectronics innovators, SIA unites 95 companies responsible for more than 85 percent of semiconductor production in this country. The Environment, Safety and Health Department convenes the industry to address worker health, develop alternatives to hazardous chemicals and pollutant emissions, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and to share environmental best practices with companies from other nations.
