Case Study on Industrial Boilers: Boiler Blowdown Heat Recovery [PDF]
Abstract: This case study discusses the possibility of recovering the heat from the boiler blowdown cleaning process and using it to preheat the feedwater. This process was installed at an Augusta Newsprint plant and was found to save $31,000 dollars annually.
