Description

• Place parts on rack to minimize the volume of solution ‘carry out’ from the bath
• minimize horizontal surfaces
• depressions must open downward
• slant parts so that only a small surface area is in contact with the liquid surface when the part is being removed from the plating solution
• configure so that parts don’t drip on each other

Advantages

• Pprevents liquid from being trapped on the part
• Less contamination of rinse water, because less liquid is transferred on the part
• Less process water is lost
