Increase Hang Time
Description
- Increase hang-time over tank, allowing excess solution to dip back into the bath it just came from
- Tilt rack / barrel over process tank
- automated line: program the unit to pause over the tank
- manual line: install a hook over the bath where the operator can hang the rack
Advantages
- Less contamination of rinse water, because less liquid is transferred on the part
- Less process water is lost

- Evaluate the process to determine an ideal hang-time for a part
- Allow sufficient dripping
