Drip Boards
Description
- Drip boards give operators a place to rest the rack / barrel for manually operated systems to encourage increased hang time
- Place drip board so that it drains to the previous tank
Advantages
- Less dragout volume carried to the next tank
- Less process material is lost
Implementation Process
- Select a compatible material
- acid solutions: polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polyethylene, Teflon-lined steel
- hot alkaline solutions: stainless steel
- Investigate cost / determine cost-effectiveness
- Install equipment
