Drain Boards
Description
- Place drain board between consecutive tanks, draining to the former tank
Advantages
- Less dragout loss between tanks
- Helps to prevent wet floors
- Less process material is lost
Implementation Process
- Select a compatable material
- acid solutions: polyvinyl chloride, polypropylene, polyethylene, Teflon-lined Steel
- hot alkaline solutions: stainless steel
- Investigate cost / determine cost-effectiveness
- Install equipment
