Acid Sorption
Description
- Pass the contaminated acidic solution through a resin medium, and the resin sorbs the acid
- Treat the remaining solution by metal recovery or disposed of if as a waste
- Pass clean water through the resin, to recover the acids, and reuse as the process chemicals
- Can be used on a continuous basis
- Applicable for low to medium acid concentration solutions

- 30 - 65% of acid is recovered
