Mission Statement
The Cleaner Production Challenge Team Mission is to challenge and educate the Wet Processes Sector (WPS) facilities in order to promote the efficient use of resources for the benefit of Washington’s natural environment and economy.Introduction
The goals of CPC- Reduce water use and sludge production by 10 to 25 percent
- Reduce energy use
- Reduce chemical consumption
- Increase profitability per production
- Reduce rejects by improving process control
- Baseline data is from 2000
- Includes gas, electric, water and waste
- Same data will be collected for 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004
- Normalize data from year to year with production factor
